I dropped my sword
it hit me too hard too sharp too quick
making my eyes run
my knees buckle
blurring my seeing
I dropped my sword
baring my teeth I try to catch it
but my fingers cannot grasp the hilt
as my body tilts
onto, into and through the dirt
I dropped my sword
pain is too deep
I was the first
so my eyes creep Into the Darkness
waiting in Black
my whole body to dress
I dropped my sword
there is life yet
strength in my Fingertips
power in my gut
I can make it I bet
my vision clears
my hands are found
I dropped my sword
I see it falling
caught it.
